>Rockville Central friend Roald Schrack was on hand to catch renowned blues and boogie-woogie artist Daryl Davis play a few days ago in Rockville Town Square and caught it all on video. He was kind enough to make some of it available:

Thanks Roald!

It was great to see Daryl Davis perform in Rockville Town Center in June 12. I met Daryl at the “Living the Dream” program for the 30th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre on January 21, 2002.>
In my personal copy of Daryl Davis’ book entitled, “Klan-Destine Relationships,” he autographed it with “I hope to learn more from you about our sister city.” This is a book I read and not just bought. Daryl believes “in a ray of hope for harmony between races and the future of mankind.” He truly is an inspiration to me.
Daryl, I thank you for continuing to come to Rockville with your great music.
