Here, as another in a series of shots generated by my recent trip through East Rockville and Lincoln Park with Council Member Phyllis Marcuccio, is a useful thought. It is carved on a bench in Mary Trumbo Park, near the “gateway” to East Rockville. This park is an excellent example of a citizen-generated park, instigated and maintained by local residents, yet built with some help from the City.
Mary Trumbo was a poet; the benches in the park highlight some of her more memorable lines.

This is a wonderful quote. Can anyone share any more information about Mary Trumbo? I did a search for her online and only turned up the city web page for the park.
