From Saturday Morning ‘Till Night

Saturday, December 6 from 7:00 AM-12:00 PM
You’ve heard it before, but really, get the weekend off to a good start with the most important meal of the day –my favorite meal of the day! It’s time for the Kiwanis Club of Rockville’s All-You-Can-Eat Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus. Oh, but it’s much more than pancakes! Smile for the pictures with Santa Claus, soak in the choral entertainment, and take your chances at contests, drawings, a raffle, and a silent auction. Baked goods on sale to keep you going this holiday season. All this fun AND all the proceeds help children in need. Tickets are $6 in advance (see listing below) or $7 at the door. Children under 5 free. Picture from the Kiwanis flyer.

Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 PM until Midnight

Our favorite Rockville band is releasing their new CD! It’s finally time for The West End CD Release Party at Austin Grill Rockville! They’ve spent all those hot summer nights performing their music to perfection and now we all get our chance to buy, This Ride Could Be My Last. Produced and engineered by Steve Carr at Hit and Run Recording in Rockville, Maryland, the CD is a professional effort that I guarantee you will be listening to for a long time to come because it’s foot pounding not tapping original rock music with a bit of the blues. Best of all, you get to hear The West End live. Since Austin Grill has pulled back the live music, you just can’t miss this show – an opportunity to let them know how much we love The West End and want a live music venue in Rockville Town Center! Picture from The West End.
