>Pick of the Week

Sunday, January 25, 2009 Jazz Vespers Service 5 PM
at Christ Episcopal Church at 107 North Washington Street.

This is the event I’m most looking forward to attending this weekend, so I thought I would share it with all of you (plus it’s real close to my birthday and Jazz Vespers always feels like a celebration of life.) The Reverend John McDuffie plays saxaphone and he developed this unique service on sabbatical. Along with the Jim Levy Trio (music at this site) the group will enliven the afternoon with an inspiring round of great jazz. I promise, your spirits will be lifted. Donations will be gratefully received to benefit Community Ministries of Rockville.
