POTD: Magenta

I used to live in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles and there was a breakfast counter there my wife and I used to enjoy. It was called Millie’s. It had a big ship’s bell behind the counter and when customers got irritating, the wait staff would ring the bell loudly and shout out, “Problem customer!” I liked their style. It was owned by a woman named Magenta and I thought of her when I saw these chairs in East Rockville the other day.

Magenta was the loudest bell-ringer of them all, so it did no good to complain!
