Our Email System Is Changing

Gentle readers,
We at Rockville Central are always trying to fine tune things to make our community blog as helpful as it can be. We know that many readers who subscribe to the email distribution system have come to rely on it as an easy way to keep up with what’s going on at Rockville Central.
We are also well aware that on high-volume news days, other readers are dismayed and overcome as their inboxes get stuffed with Rockville Central articles. So, we are going to institute a new system.
Starting Tuesday, February 17, we will send out just one email per day, between 4 and 5 each afternoon.
That email will have the day’s headlines and links to each article. If an article gets published after the email goes out, we will pick it up in the next day’s email.
This is a little more work for us, so we will just have to see how it goes! We may change it and tweak as we go along — or abandon it altogether. It all depends on whether it works.
For those who want to keep closer tabs on what is going on at Rockville Central, we encourage you to subscribe in a newsfeed reader, follow us on Twitter, or become a “fan” on Facebook.
