		<description>Jacquie,&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sorry I was unable to attend the public hearing tonight but I did write my letter to all the mentioned public officials.  Maryland Delegate Luiz Simmons responded back with, “Dear Brigitta, Thank you for your thoughtful note. I stand with you and continue to do all I can to support our libraries. Warm Wishes, Luiz,”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of my main comments is “In our country I believe investing in education should be high priority and is not an area public officials should look to reduce.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can only hope that the best decisions are made by our legislators.  If we don’t let our officials know what we believe to be priority, we have no reason to complain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Brigitta Mullican</description>
