POTD: Pampas

This lovely shot is by Rockville Central friend Janet Brown. Of it, she says: “I spent most of today in the sun at the Argyle House, cutting back last year’s pampas grass and making it easier for the new green shoots to grow. However when I got to the last clump this afternoon, it looked so beautiful that I photographed it instead of chopping it!”

A wise choice, I think.
