Following up from a tip from one of our >Twitter friends, I took a peek and found that, indeed, the Greystone Grill in Town Square appears to have closed. In fact, it is evidently closed forever:

It’s always sad to see businesses not succeed. But there are still lots of good restaurants in Town Square and this opens the door to something new!

well, so much for overpriced, mediocre food….the town square has so many better options, this is the second “chain” restaurant to go, following Grillfish….Hopefully Greystone will be replaced by a non-chain, local restaurant.

offer food (good food) and they will come…and stay. Maybe Addie’s/Blacks can build us a restaurant at the medium price level.

I have to agree with Anon above. We ate there once and, although the service was good, the food was bland and absurdly overpriced and our meal was utterly forgettable. The interior of the restaurant was dull and depressing. Eventually, a better rstaurant will take its place.

I never ate there because, like some other people I know in Rockville, I don’t patronize chain restaurants. Those I know who did go there said the food wasn’t that great and that it was overpriced. Let’s hope that something better takes it place.
