Rockville City Schedule For July 3-4

>From the City: The Fourth of July, which falls on a Saturday this year, will result in a number of closings within the City of Rockville. Rockville will observe the holiday on Friday, July 3, and City Hall, as well as other facilities will be closed. Residents should be aware of a change in hours at some locations that will remain open on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

Recycling, refuse and yard waste will be collected as scheduled Friday, July 3.

The following list outlines specific schedules for City facilities.

  • F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre Box Office: open Friday, July 3, 2-7 p.m.; closed Saturday, July 4.
  • Twinbrook Community Recreation Center: open Friday, July 3, 6 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; closed Saturday, July 4; open Sunday, July 5, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Lincoln Park Community Center: open Friday, July 3, 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; closed Saturday, July 4; open Sunday, July 5, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Croydon Creek Nature Center: open Friday, July 3, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Saturday, July 4; open Sunday, July 5, 1-5 p.m.
  • Thomas Farm Community Center: open Friday, July 3, 6 a.m.-9:30 p.m.; closed Saturday, July 4; open Sunday, July 5, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Rockville Swim and Fitness Center: open Friday, July 3, regular hours; open Saturday, July 4, to 7 p.m.; open Sunday, July 5, regular hours.
  • Glenview Mansion closed Friday, July 3; private event Saturday, July 4; open Sunday, July 5, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Summer Camps/Classes/Playgrounds will not be held Friday, July 3, or Saturday, July 4.
  • Teen Summer Lounge open as scheduled Friday, July 3.
  • Rockville Senior Center closed Friday, July 3; open Saturday, July 4, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
