		<description>thank you very much for this article and for all your concern for teens. whatever we can do to get more programs, a larger skatepark, more sites, etc., would be most welcome. an expenditure for the skateboard was deleted from the city budget and it would be great to have that revisited.in addition, i also offer my thanks to jon mclaren, who has been tireless and dedicated in making improvements in the park and working with the kids, including my son and his friends. a skater himself, jon got a lot done with a small amount of money and donations of materials etc from people he knew.we are very grateful for him and the skatepark! one reason it has been crowded is because of the great job he did.</description>
