Do you know if this will be televised/recorded? I am travelling back from a business trip tonight and am unable to attend.

So, is that gaping space on the corner EVER going to be a grocery store? I’m chomping at the bit to NEVER GO TO GIANT AGAIN as soon as the alternative opens. At least there’s a Teeter opening around the corner. But living in a town really shouldn’t require I have to drive in a car to buy some groceries.

Someone who was at the TCAT meeting could tell you I guess. But at the WECA block captain and board meeting last Thursday, a city official said she had “no news” on this. She said SuperFresh has the lease, is still paying on the space, but has no date to ever occupy it.When asked, she said she didn’t know how long the lease was for.

The vast majority of the TCAT meeting was a presentation by County staff about the soon-to-come judicial center expansion. TCAT meetings are not televised. We’ll have minutes in a few weeks or less.We did talk about SuperFresh. Theresa is correct, essentially there is no word on when the grocery store might open.By the way, the October meeting will be skipped and TCAT will reconvene in November.Mark Pierzchala, still interim president of the Town Center Action Team.
