The other day Rockville Central reader Drew Powell sent along this photo and an explanation: “Around 2:30 PM this afternoon (11-02-09), a car accelerated down the ‘kiss and drop’ access road into the Twinbrook Metro, jumped the curb, and continued up a steep incline and remained perched on the embankment just short of falling onto the tracks and oncoming trains. The driver, suffering no noticeable injuries, was extracted by rescuers and taken to a local hospital. No one else was hurt (thank goodness).”
The arrow shows where the car ended up. Quite a ride!!
