Illegal Drug Arrest
- 08/02/10-(6:45 p.m.) Ryan Steven Hammer, M, age 24, of Rockville, was arrested for possession and distribution of CDS-marijuana following a complaint in the 600 block of Blandford Street. Mr. Hammer was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
Weapons Arrests
- 08/02/10-(5:52 p.m.) Stefan Fields, M, age 21, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for possession of a concealed and dangerous weapon (baton) following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike. Mr. Fields was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/04/10-(3:23 p.m.–4:10 p.m.) Matthew Wayne Johnson, M, age 25, of Annapolis, was arrested for possession of dangerous concealed weapons (switchblade and nunchuka), possession of CDS-marijuana, possession of CDS-amphetamine, following a complaint in the 500 block of Beall Avenue. Mr. Johnson was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
Robbery Arrests
- 08/02/10-08/03/10 Male juvenile, age 16, of Rockville; Male juvenile, age 17, of Silver Spring; Male juvenile, age 17, of Germantown; and Donique King, M, age 18, of Bethesda, were arrested for robbery, theft and conspiracy to commit theft; in additional the 16-year-old juvenile was also charged with 2nd degree assault, following an earlier incident that occurred on 07/30/10 in the 1000 block of Baltimore Road. The juveniles were processed at the Rockville City Police Department and released into the custody of their parents. Mr. King was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/04/10 Sanjay Leif Hall, M, age 18, of no fixed address, was arrested for armed robbery, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony, and possession of a concealed dangerous weapon, following an incident that occurred earlier in the unit block of Maryland Avenue. Mr. Hall was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
Aggravated Assault Arrest
- 08/07/10-(2:30 a.m. – 2:43 a.m.) Male juvenile, age 17, of Frederick, was arrested for 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault and reckless endangerment following a complaint in the 2200 block of Veirs Mill Road. The male juvenile, who is being charged as an adult, was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
Theft Arrests
- 08/05/10-(3:40 p.m. – 3:49 p.m.) Mr. Christopher A. Anderson, M, age 22, of Temple Hills, and Mr. Jeremiah James, M, age 19, of Washington, D.C., were arrested for: Mr. James for theft and conspiracy to commit theft; Mr. Anderson for theft, conspiracy to commit theft, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, failing to obey a lawful order, 2nd degree assault, malicious destruction of property and obstructing and hindering following a complaint in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike. Mr. Anderson and Mr. James were transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

- 08/03/10-(5:30 p.m. – 5:35 p.m.) Russell Daniel Pierce, M, age 50, of Rockville, was arrested for trespassing following a complaint in the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue. Mr. Pierce was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/05/10-(7:30 p.m. – 7:50 p.m.) Vincent Earl Cromer, M, age 20, of Germantown, was arrested for trespassing following a complaint in the unit block of Maryland Avenue. Mr. Cromer was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/06/10-(7:40 p.m. – 7:47 p.m.) Dale Guillaume, M, age 46, of Washington, D.C., was arrested for trespassing following a complaint in the unit block of Mannakee Street. Mr. Guillaume was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/07/10-(12:51 p.m.) Italo Jose Carreno, M, age 21, of Montgomery Village was arrested for drinking in public following a complaint in the 300 block of Martins Lane. Mr. Carreno was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
DUI Arrests
- 08/02/10-(2:08 a.m. – 2:10 a.m.) Erick Orlando Alfaro, M, age 24, of Silver Spring, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road. Mr. Alfaro was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
- 08/02/10-(11:08 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) Joseph John Ashkin, M, age 51, of Rockville, was arrested for driving under the influence following an accident in the unit block of Preserve Parkway. Mr. Ashkin was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
- 08/04/10-(12:15 p.m.) Thomas Joseph Granata, M, age 54, of Olney, was arrested for driving under the influence following an accident at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Richard Montgomery Drive. Mr. Granata was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.
- 08/06/10-(4:40 a.m.) Nelson Alfredo Carbajal, M, age 20, of Silver Spring, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic accident at the intersection of Edmonston Drive and Grandin Circle. - 08/08/10-(2:49 a.m.) Jimmy Gael Huamani, M, age 25, of Brookeville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Frederick Road and Indianola Drive. Mr. Huamani was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed 2 speakers, deejay equipment, a box of CDs, 4 microphones, a box of cables, a portable CD player, a video game, and a dollie.
- 08/01/10-(1:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) 100 block of Gibbs Street, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by unknown means into an apartment. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency and prescription medication.
- 08/02/10-08/03/10-(10:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.) 300 block of Nimitz Avenue, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by cutting the latch to a shed. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed a chain saw and a weed wacker.
- 08/03/10-(2:00 p.m. – 2:08 p.m.) 300 block of Howard Avenue, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked door of a residence. Nothing taken.
- 08/04/10-(11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) 1200 block of Clagett Drive, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked front door of a residence. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency.
- 08/06/10-(12:58 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.) 600 block of Watts Branch Parkway, Residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain access by removing a screen from a front bedroom window of a residence. No entry was made.
- 08/06/10-08/07/10-(11:18 p.m. – 7:50 a.m.) 14900 block of Shady Grove Road, Commercial, unknown suspect(s) pried the front door of a salon. Nothing taken.
