Armed Robbery In Twinbrook

Here’s a note from Rockville Police Chief Terry Treschuk:

An individual reported to the police that on September 19, 2010 , at approximately 9: 53 p.m., he was robbed while walking home on Crawford Dr towards Ardennes Ave. The Victim stated that 2 unknown Black males ran up behind him and told him to put his wallet on the ground. The victim stated that Suspect#1 pointed a small handgun at him while he did this. The Victim put his wallet down and started to walk away, and then ran towards Ardennes.

The Suspects may have left in a gold-colored Honda vehicle. According to the victim, Suspect #1 had dreadlocks and Suspect #2 had short hair. The only other description was that one of the suspects had on a white shirt.

A search of the area by responding police units was negative. This case remain under active investigation at this time.
