Friday Night Out: Art, Theater or … Bingo!

This Friday night’s Art After Hours will jazz it up with very jazz duo “Unstrung” featuring Howie Jung on Vocals/Keyborard and Vince Calcaterra on Violin/Mandolin, while Michelle Ava directs AVAdance &ImproVolutions DC in performance art throughout the evening. 6:30 - 8:30 PM at VisArts. You can also visit the artists’ studios and start the holiday shopping exploration.

Rockville Musical Theatre’s entering its second weekend of performances of “the world’s greatest love story on the streets of 1950’s New York when two young lovers struggle in a world of violence and prejudice” at 8 PM Fridays: Nov. 6 & 13, and Saturdays, Nov. 7 & 14. 2 PM Sundays: Nov. 8 & 15, at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre. Tickets cost $20, adult; $18, seniors (62+); $16 students (18 and younger).

Family Bingo Night at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway from 7-9 PM is an affordable way to have a night out together and some fun to boot. Cost is $2 per person.
