Police Investigating Human Remains Found On Railroad Tracks; MARC Service Suspended [UPDATED]

Montgomery County Police are investigating human remains that were found by a jogger near the CSX railroad tracks behind the commercial area at 11700 Parklawn.

Around 5:30 this afternoon, police responded to the report. They say that the sex of the individual is still unknown and that it appears the individual was struck by a train. It is unknown when.

UPDATE: According to police, the victim has been identified. “The individual was identified as William Donahoe, age 26, from the 11400 block of Patapsco Drive in Rockville.”

MARC service is suspended while the investigation continues.
