To commemorate Rockville’s sesquicentennial (that’s 150 years, in case you were wondering), Peerless Rockville has released the second Peerless Places Commemorative Ornament, featuring the Red Brick Courthouse.

(The first one, released last year, commemorated the internationally famous Chestnut Lodge Building along with Frieda’s Cottage and the Little Lodge.)

The ornament recreates the 1891 courthouse in miniature, including windows, brickwork, and decorative brownstone.

The regular price is $24.95 but if you order in advance before January 1, 2011, it’s $19.95. Ornaments are available for pickup at Peerless Rockville after December 1 or by mail. Proceeds will benefit Peerless’ educational programs and preservation work.

Here is the Order Form with more details.
