ILLEGAL DRUG ARRESTS

  • 10/14/10-(10:30–11 p.m.) Marco Antonio Blanco Urbina, M, age 31, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Atlantic Avenue. Blanco Urbina was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARRESTS

  • 10/13/10-(2 p.m.) Male juvenile, age 13, of Rockville, was arrested for 1st degree assault following a complaint in the 600 block of Great Falls Road. The male juvenile was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released into the custody of his mother.

BURGLARY ARRESTS

  • 10/12/10-(8:30–9:30 p.m.) Mario Antonio Alvarez Lopez, M, age 30, of Rockville, was arrested for 4th degree burglary, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence following a complaint in the 1000 block of Grandin Avenue. Alvarez Lopez was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

THEFT ARRESTS

  • 10/15/10-7:50–8 p.m.) David Abban, M, age 32, of Germantown, was arrested for theft following a traffic stop at the intersection of Southlawn Lane and North Horners Lane. Abban was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

OTHER ARRESTS

  • 10/09/10-(8:30 p.m.) Robin Bartlett, M, age 30, of Washington, D.C. was arrested for fraud following a complaint in the 800 block of Rockville Pike. Bartlett was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.
  • 10/10/10-(6:15–6:20 p.m.) Hossein Hassanshahi, M, age 53, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public following a complaint at the intersection of Martins Lane and Martins Square Lane. Hassanshahi was issued a criminal citation and released.
  • 10/11/10-(12:09–12:20 p.m.) Sherwin Wells, M, age 30, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for disorderly conduct following a complaint in the unit block of Mannakee Street. Wells was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

DUI ARRESTS

  • 10/11/10-(1:27–1:35 p.m.) Shawn Thomas Sizemore, M, age 42, of Burtonsville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Chapman Avenue. Sizemore was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

THEFTS

  • 10/09/10-(1–2 p.m.) 1600 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect removed a wallet container U.S. currency, a driver’s license and credit cards from a customer’s purse at a store.
  • 10/11/10-(12:30–12:50 p.m.) Unit block of Monroe Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop from an office.
  • 10/15/10-10/16/10-(9:30 p.m.–2:33 a.m.) 500 block of Hungerford Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed several dozen DVDs from an unlocked vehicle.
  • 10/16/10-(12:25–12:30 p.m.) 1700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed an unattended camera from the lobby area of a hotel restroom.
  • 10/16/10-10/17/10-(7 p.m.–11:10 a.m.) 500 block of Woodston Road, unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency and clothing from a vehicle.

BURGLARIES

  • 10/12/10-(11–11:20 a.m.) 400 block of Winding Rose Road, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an open garage and unlocked door of a residence. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed 2 laptops and a video game console.
