[UPDATE: The youth has been found.] Montgomery County Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a critically missing teenager from Rockville.

Lesly Merino, 13, is of the 400 block of Rutgers Street and was last seen at approximately 1 PM, on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, as she left her residence.

She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’2″ tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, has brown eyes and wavy, shoulder-length brown hair. She also wears silver and white colored braces on her teeth and was last seen wearing a pink sweater and gray jeans.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare due to her age.

If anyone has information regarding the possible location of Lesly Merino, they are asked to immediately contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 or the Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400.

former student of mine at CGES. I’ll spread the word…

a man in a blue van stopped alongside an 11th grade Wootton HS girl at the Rockshire shopping center this morning and talked to her but she ignored him and crossed the street (or something like that). Make sure you inform the Police of suspicious things like this. At last month’s WECA meeting Lt. Over (Eric - I hope I got your rank correct!) told us it’s the little things from citizens that sometimes solve the crime.

Lesly is a good of mine and attends my classes, though it may not be showing very much she is also about three or four months pregnant

has this child been located? this would appear to be her twitter account, and there’s an update from nov. 5, yet she was reported missing on nov. 2.

Not sure it’s the same person, Theresa. Looking closely at the photos there are differences. I posted an @ to her asking if it’s her.
